Director Ameer and the University officials have graced the function which was organized recently at Vadapalani in Chennai to formally honor this course. Following which the twelve directors of the committee including Venkat Prabhu, Prabhu Solomon, SP Jananathan and others met the press.

The filmmaking course will be conducted in two batches in which each batch consists of 40 students. The course will be conducted yearly, and held between 10 am to 1 pm, with a course fee of Rs 3000. The highlight of the course is an eminent director from the industry will give a lecture once a month which will be a helping hand for the newbie directors and budding aspirants.
