The latest news is that recently Divya has invited Dhanush to grace as chief guest for the 100 day function of her super hit Kannada film Sanju Weds Geeta in Bangalore and Dhanush obliged it in spite of being busy with his assignments. The function hall which was packed with audiences suddenly sounded with a big round of applause when Dhanush read the speech in Kannada. He also admitted that the speech has been written by Divya in Kannada. The actor also confessed that his wife Aishwarya has roots in Karnataka (remember that our Superstar Rajinikanth is born in Karnataka)
Dhanush said "I am here because of my close friend Divya. In the days of piracy it's great to hear that a film took a run of 100 days. These days it became hard for a film to run for 10 days but Sanju Weds Geeta has showed its strength at the box office with 100 days of run”.
Later Dhanush was honored by Kannada cinema’s superstar Shivarajkumar.
