Jayam Ravi makes sure to attend each and every function of Jeeva either its personal or professional, in the same way he attended the audio launch of Rowthiram, which has Jeeva and Shriya Saran in the lead. Those who were present at the launch came to know how close friendship they share.

Jayam Ravi said "I and Jeeva had been very good friends since many years. I can surely tell that the maximum number of functions I have attended is Jeeva's apart from my family functions. We make sure that we attend each others family and film function. A recent occasion which I can never forget is my son's birthday. I have invited Jeeva to attend my son’s birthday party but he told he was unable to attend due to his busy schedules. It was a surprise to me and my wife that Jeeva's wife Supriya turned up with their nine-month-old baby for the party. In fact I have given strict orders to my wife not to take my child any where outside until he attains one year of age but Jeeva has allowed his child to be brought to the party. I was touched with their presence".
