Simbu and Gautham Menon have been regarded as the best pals in Kollywood now. In fact, they would love to be addressed as brothers rather than ‘Friends’. Simbu’s career got through jet-speed progression after ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya’. The actor played a cameo role in the Telugu version ‘Ye Maaya Chesavo’ as well.

Now his role will be reprised in the Hindi version ‘Prem Katha’ as well that has Pratheik Babbar and Amy Jackson in lead roles. Simbu will be playing the role of an actor, whose role will be inspired from the real life character of Prateik Babbar.

Javed Akhtar has penned dialogues and lyrics for the film that will have musical score by A.R Rahman.
