Madhu Shalini's bollywood debut in RGV's with Big B

Madhu Shalini has wooed the Tamil audiences with her performance in the films like Bala's Avan Ivan and Pathinaru. A few days ago we have reported that the actress is going to step into Bollywood and now it is heard that the film has been confirmed and she is all set to turn into a whole new avatar for her Bollywood debut.

She has signed a film titled Department with ace director Ram Gopal Varma, aka RGV. The film will move on floors in the first week of September will see an early 2012 release. The actress who was seen in soft natured roles so far will be seen as a gangster in this multi-starrer and will shares screen space with Bollywood top stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Rana Daggubati.

On Speaking on the film, Madhu Shalini said, “Department is set on the backdrop of police and underworld nexus. It will mostly look like the final part of RGV's earlier films like Satya and Company. The film is quite unusual; I mean it doesn’t deal with either with the hero, heroine or villain. My character is quite different and as well as daring. She can be extremes, depending on how people treat her and get dangerous if people get on her way”.

The actress is all excited to play the role of a gangster as she hasn’t played such characters so far.
