Actor Simbhu has refused to act in the Hindi version of Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya directed by Gowtham Menon. Prathik is donning the lead role in this film. Amy Jackson who had acted in Madrasapattinam is donning the female lead role.

Director Gowtham Menon has approached Simbhu to act in the actor’s role. In the Telugu version, Simbhu had donned the actor role in which had Naga Chaitanya in the lead role. Similar there were expectations that Simbhu will don the actor’s role in the Hindi version also

Director Gowtham Menon has mentioned, “There is no truth in the news about the film Hindi remake of Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya. I will be elaborately speak about this later.. But the sources in Kollywood say that Gowtham Menon is in a state of shock since Simbhu has refused to act in the Hindi version.
