Kalpathi (S Agoram) group acquired Rantech IT Park for 50 Crore

Chennai based Kalpathi group has acquired the Rantech IT Park in IT Corridor in Sholinganalur at Old Mahabalipuram Road, Chennai. The place is about 8km from Tidel Park and has been acquired for a whooping $10 million!

On a campus admeasuring 1.3 acres, this eight storied building spread over 2.2. lakh sq ft has two stilt floors exclusively for parking with provision to park 175 cars and 200 two wheelers!

Kalpathi S Aghoram said, "This dovetails with our opening of AGS OMR, the largest multiplex that services the IT Corridor. Our investment in Rantech Towers IT Park reflects this confidence that in the long run, OMR will represent the new face of greater Chennai".

Kalpathi Investments, the PE arm of the group has a portfolio of companies that it supports. AGS Entertainment is the film production and distrivution arm of the Kalpathi Group and has produced and or distributed over 10 films in the last four years.
