A police official at the Chennai Police Commissionerate has revealed on condition of anonymity that contrary to her claim, popular actress Sona Heiden hasn’t yet submitted any ‘video evidence’ to support her complaint of ‘outraging her modesty’ against producer-turned-playback singer S.P.B. Charan at a recently party held to celebrate the super-success of Ajit’s latest film Mankatha.

Sona, after emerging from the Commissionerate’s office a few days back, addressed the waiting press-persons saying that she had stated everything in her complained and added that she had also submitted the video evidence to the police for further ‘strengthen’ her case.

“The evidence would prove that my allegations (against Charan) are nothing but the truth and that I’m not saying so to get any money fro Charan. This clinching evidence would silence everyone and I have requested the police to act on the case based on the video sequences,” Sona had said.

Queries with the police revealed that contrary to her claim, Sona hadn’t submitted any video evidence (did she ever have one?) to them. She simply submitted the signed complaint and said that she would be sending the video evidence through one of her assistants. When Sona was contacted to confirm this, it was found her cellphone had been ‘switched off’.

Shall anyone reveal as to what’s cooking?
