Kollywood's prominent production house Sun Pictures has reportedly bagged the release rights of director Sargunam's next project Vaagai Sooda Vaa. Sargunam is again teaming up with Kalavaani fame Vimal for this project. Amala Paul of Mynaa fame and Parvathy of Poo fame are the heroines.

Interestingly, Vaagai Sooda Vaa is a period film set in the 60s. In this film, Vimal will play the role of an aspiring teacher. The director assures that just like his earlier film Kalavaani, Vaagai Sooda Vaa will also be a fun-filled jolly ride. The film is all set to grace theatres on September 30, 2011.
