Although the producers and distributors have been facing more problems in box office due to multiple releases, they haven't learnt from their mistakes. Last Friday, there were three releases that are different in styles.

The film 'Vedi' was a commercial entertainer while 'Muran' - a taut thriller and 'Vaagai Sooda Vaa', a different kind of period film. But then, due to the multiple releases, the films haven't been able to do a good business in box office.

For the next couple of days, there are going to be around 8 releases.As of now, Nandha's Vellore Mavattam is releasing on 5^th October locking the horns with the film Varthangle 20. On 6^th of October, on the eve of Dussera, Srikanth Starrer Sathurangam will hit the screens. Sonia Agarwal is the leading lady in the film. Following this, a couple of other films Ra.. Ra and Varnam are also seeing the limelight on Friday, i.e, 7^th October.
