A little known small Tamil film Uyirin Yedai 21 Ayiri directed by El Indrajith which has Sangamithra And Thilakan is facing censor trouble.

The censors have refused to clear the film, without imposing 41 cuts!

The film is said to have very violent blood spewing scenes and also a lot of crude glamour scenes.
But the director of the film feels that the censors are having double standards.

Says a source close to the production team of Uyirin Yedai 21 Ayiri : " How come a film like Anurag Kashyap's Girl in Yellow Boots got through the censors without any major cuts? Recently a lot of violent Tamil films have been cleared. Why is there is a different guideline for Uyirin Yedai 21 Ayiri?"
