Finally, Vedi released to mixed response all over Tamilnadu last week.
All attention are on its hero Vishal and Sameera Reddy but everybody seems to have forgotten about Poonam Kaur who played a crucial character in the film.
The cute looking Poonam had earlier confessed to kollyinsider.com that she was looking for a big break in Tamil when this offer to do the same role she did in Shouryam, came her way.
The petite actress was not keen but as the call came directly from Prabhu Deva the man she admires from childhood that she accepted the role.
The buzz is that Poonam was promised by producers that she will be promoted and included in the publicity and posters at the time of release.
But when she landed in Chennai to watch the film, on the day of release, she found that none of her Vedi unit members like hero Vishal and director Prabhu Deva were in town nor did they bother to include her in the promotions.
