Director Selvaraghavan's expensive fantasy entertainer Aayirathil Oruvan (AO) will soon see its sequel as per the latest reports.
The prequel had Karthi, Reema Sen and Andrea Jeremiah in the lead roles. AO was released in January 2010 and turned out to be a hit.

The script work for the sequel has also been ready according to Selva, the writer, lyricist and the director. "The part 2 to Aayirathil Oruvan script is ready. Had some time to fine tune it in the last two days. Hope to make it soon," informed Selvaraghavan.

On the other hand Gitanjali Selvaraghavan also updated the news tweeting, "Excited about Aayirathil Oruvan part 2. Part one is my all time favourite Indian film; I have no clue about the story of the second part. Still developing."

We are yet to know if Selvaraghavan retains the original cast and crew of the film.
