Actor Kishore who is playing sandalwood smuggler Veerappan in Vanayudham, directed by A M R Ramesh says, 'I lost five kilograms for the role'.
'I have been intrigued by Veerappan's persona. I have been reading a lot about him, too. The movie will also be made in Kannada titled Attahasa', says Kishore.

On the challenges playing the role, he says, 'every role is demanding. Every character is tough to portray. For this role, I had to lose five kgs.'

Ramesh is shooting for the movie in Tamilnadu-Karnataka and Kerala border. ‘We have done enough homework and the movie will not take any sides', says the director
