Actor Prabhu is donning an important role in the film titled Kottai. Sithara is pairing with him. The film is based on the view that friendship is more scared than chastity.
As per the story, Prabhu and Sampath are good friends. Sampath who becomes jealous about Prabhu’s growth kills him and grabs all his property.

How Sithara brings up her son and takes revenge on Sampath is the rest of the story. New face Arthik is donning the role of son of Prabhu-Sithara couple. Suchitra Unni is pairing with Arthik. Y Gee Mahendra, Vijay Krishnaraj, Muthu Kalai, Sivanarayanamurthy and Nellai Shiva are also starring in this film. J Vijay is composing the music for the lyrics penned by Na Muthukumar, Sneghan and Kavinba.

Sundaraj is handling the camera. Jaya Amudha Mohan apart from producing this film is also directing this film. He has also written the story, screenplay and dialogues. The shooting of this film is taking place in and around Chennai.
