There are great expectations for this film since the film is directed by Vasanthabalan who had directed the hit film Angaadi Theru. The audio CD of this film was released during the month of October but there is no information about the release of this film.

When enquired about this, it is understood that there are some minor post production works are remaining to be done and they have planned to release this film for Pongal. Since two major films Nanban and Vettai are being released for Pongal, it has been decided to release the film during the month of February.
