Urvasi is soon debuting as a director and will start rolling the camera. The senior actress, who stepped in to the industry in 1984, has done many movies in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. Urvasi made her debutr debut in Kollywood, Tollywood and Mollywood at once.

Urvasi is now making her debut as director with a Tamil film being written by well-known writer Mohan. The actress had been a producer to a Malayalam film Pidakkozhi Koovunna Noottandu in the early 1994, besides this Urvasi also made her debut as writer to a movie directed by Suresh Unnithan titled Ulsavamelam.

An official confirmation is expected soon as the cast and crew has to be set, for the yet-to-be title project.
