Vedika debuted with Madarasi and acted in a bilingual movie Muni opposite choreographer Lawrence and was also seen in Sakkarakatti and Malai Malai. According to the grapevine it seems Bala found Vedika will suit the role alongside Atharva in the movie. However there is no confirmation yet.

Eriyum Thanal for the first time enjoys the combination of National award winning director Bala and music director GV Prakash, while the remaining cast and crew has to be finalized.
