Divya Spandana is all likely to play the female lead in Vetrimaran's next film 'Vada Chennai'. The actress immediately accepted the role when she listened to the story of the film.

The actress has already acted in Vetrimaran film 'Polladhavan' that had Dhanush in the lead and was a superhit. After her debut film 'Kuthu', she is again joining Simbhu in 'Vada Chennai'!

'Vada Chennai' has Simbhu, Rana Daggubatti and Andrea Jeremiah in the lead roles and tells the story of the life of North Chennai and is set in the period 80s and 90s. G V Prakash Kumar scores the music and Dhayanidhi Alagiri of Cloud Nine Movies is producing the film.
