Jai is happy about the way his career is shaping up, especially after the sleeper hit Engeyum Eppodhum last year.
He’s kicked about the project he is currently working on for Gautham Menon’s Photon Kathas, directed by Prabhu Deva’s Assistant Director. There is also a film on cards in Gautham’s direction.

Jai reminisces that he missed an earlier opportunity to work with Gautham Menon in Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya. “I received a call from Gautham’s office when I was shooting in Thirunelveli. Gautham wanted me to meet him to talk about VTV. However, since I was busy shooting I couldn’t honor that invitation and the opportunity fell through,” Jai says with a tinge of regret.
