Actor Karthi who enjoyed 2011 with the success of Siruthai, will have his next venture Saguni this year.Saguni was initially planned for a pongal release but due to the delay in the post production work the release has been postponed but Karthi's fans get a sense of relief since the movie's trailer will be aired from this pongal.

Saguni is political drama directed by debutant director Shankar Dayal which stars Karthi and Pranitha. This movie will also mark the re entry of veteran actress Roja who had a brief break. G.V.Prakash music from this album is said to be a complete entertainer and the audio will hit the stores very soon .
