Yes, it is reported that the actress is offered the female lead role in a Telugu film opposite Nagarjuna and directed by Dasarath of 'Santosham' fame.

Dasarath and Nagarjuna persuaded Nayanthara to act in this film that is going on floors in May. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music and the film is produced by Shiva Prasad Reddy of Kamakshi Movies.
