Kollywood tinsel town touted that P.Vasu and the Chandramukhi team reunited to make one more movie with Rajinikanth in the banner of Shivaji productions. It is proved to be a rumour that was spread in air with no source.

Director P.Vasu confirmed "Such kind of tentative writings are proving to be uncomfortable. I didn't even have any discussions with Rajini sir for doing such a film. I'm presently busy with the Kannada film Aa Rakshaka."

Superstar Rajinikanth is currently busy with Kochadaiyaan shooting, which is a 3D film by the debutant director Soundarya Ashwin and supervised by director K.S.Ravikumar, who penned the script.
