After his 'Satham Podaathe' that released in 2007 director Vasanth went into hiatus from making features and did ads, shorts and documentaries. The big director who apprenticed under K Balachander is back with a bang.

The director is now making a new feature film 'Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal' with 'Action King' Arjun and actor-director Cheran. The latest is that 'Kalavani' and 'Vaagai Sooda Vaa' fame Vimal is joining the film to play the third central character in the film. After the success of 'Kalavani' and his splendid performance in 'Vaagai Sooda Vaa' the actor is in a signing spree for more films. The films those he currently doing are 'Ishtam' and Sundar C's 'Masala Café'!

Director Vasanth is credited with many acclaimed films including 'Keladi Kanmani', 'Aasai' and 'Rhythm'.
