Amma Creations T Siva has decided to release his Vasanthabalan directed period action drama Aravan on March 2.

The film has Aadhi as an action hero along with Dhansika, Archana Kavi, Pasupathy, Kabir Bedi and Bharath appearing in a cameo role.


Vasanthabalan has based the film on Su. Venkatesan’s novel Kaaval Kottam and also marks singer Karthik’s debut as a music director.

Director Lingusamy was so impressed with the film that he has taken the Chennai city distribution rights of the film at a whopping amount.

Aravan which was initially scheduled to release on February 10 was pushed to February 24 and now to March 2. T Siva feels that he may get a solo release as no other big film is due in March first week.

Aravan has also got entertainmenttax exemption from the state government.
