It was rumoured big that Asin was confirmed for Shankar's next film, but the latest news, and it is from the horse's mouth, says that the news was just a rumor and, as of now, the actress is not doing any film with the director.

"Yes, we did talk much during an awards ceremony but it was never decided that I'm acting in Shankar's film. Shankar is a great director and every actress would love to act in his film, same way I would also wish to act in his film," says Asin.

It has been reported that Shankar's next film is a trilingual that he is making with Kamal Hassan in Tamil, Mohan Lal in Malayalam and Prabhas in Telugu and Asin was rumoured to be playing the female lead in all the three languages.

Asin is currently doing Hindi film 'Bol Bachchan' and she is now camping in Jaipur for the film's shoot.
