Veteran Comedian Idichapuli Selvaraj passed away on Monday at around 8:00am. The actor had complained that he had problems breathing, and he was rushed to Ritapettah Hospital but he died on the way to the hospital.


Idichapuli had acted in over 100 films, he had acted with MGR, Sivaji, Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth and many more. Idichapuli is the elder sibling of comedian Pandu. He was also known for the comedy with Senthil and Koundamani in the film Chinna Vathiyar.

Selvaraj was 73 when he had passed away, he was married to his wife Chellam and had a daughter named Vasanthi. The last rites will happen at his residense ay Sathyamoorthy Nagar, Nandanam in Chennai.
