Pandiraj's Marina and Rathnakumar's Sengathu Bhoomiyile are going to release on tomorrow(3-2-2012).
'There are enough fun elements in the movie that speaks on the need to educate children', he says and adds, 'we had to shoot in crowded places at Marina beach and it was a real challenge'.
'Marina is quite different from my earlier ventures. Thirteen boys who sell sundal for a livelihood and as many as 50 regular visitors to the Marina have been featured in this realistic film.
The film features Siva Karthikeyan, Oviya, Jayaprakash, Pandi, Gautham Purushoth, Senthil Kumari and Jithan Mohan.
Sengathu Bhoomiyile, a film which deals with human relationship is the one being directed by Rathna Kumar. Sengathu Bhoomiyile speaks about caste clash and need to shun violence.
Notably when the film was screened for maestro Ilayaraja exclusively, he had tears in his eyes after watching the movie climax. He appreciated the actors performance, dialogues and way the movie was presented.
The highlight of the movie is music by Ilayaraja. Pavan, Senthil, Sunulakshmi and Priyanka play the lead roles.
