It's common knowledge that sentiments play a major role in the film industry — be it breaking up with a girl considering she is unlucky if her debut movie does not do well, or typecasting an actor for a particular role or even repeating a hit pair.

But this 'sentiment' about Nayanthara is something different! Buzz is that the once glam queen of Tamil films who made heads turn with her hot bikini act in Billa, alongside Ajith has been lured to play a glamorous cameo role in Billa 2, the upcoming prequel of the latter.

The movie directed by Chakri Toleti has two actresses — former Miss India Parvathy Omanakuttan and Arab-Brazilian Bruna Abdullah as the lead heroines.

Billa directed by Vishnuvardhan was a record-breaking hit and the film raked moolah at the BO due to Ajith's charisma and Nayan's stunning looks.

Apparently, sources inform that the makers feel that Nayan proved to a lucky charm for Billa's success and so they brought her on board for Billa 2 as well hoping to repeat the magic.

It is learnt that the Sri Ramarajiyam girl was also only too willing to join Ajith for the second time even though it was for a cameo since Billa was a big turning point in her career.

Also, unlike earlier Billa, which was remade in Telugu with Prabhas, Anushka and Namitha in the lead, Billa 2 will be dubbed and released in Andhra simultaneously says a Tollywood source.

However when producer Suresh Balaje was contacted he says that he was unaware of any such developments. "It's news to me," he reveals.
