For director Rajesh, no more wait would please him except the release of Oru Kal Oru Kannadi. With lot of hiccups on half way through the movie's making, both Udhayanidhi Stalin and Rajesh found tough time to wrap up the movie. At the beginning the film was filled with lot of hype in the media and the industry.

But due to political changes in the state, things took different turn. This made an undue delay in the subsequent schedules. However the director has successfully got ready the release of the movie. The music number from Harris Jeyaraj may be on the air some time during the next week, it is said. The movie is a litmus test for both Udhyanidhi as the hero and for Rajesh for whom this is his third venture after Siva Manasula Sakthi and Boss Engira Baskaran.

Rajesh strongly depends on the humor of his favorite Santhanam in this movie. He said for his film, after the script the most essential is Santhanam. Now OKOK is set for OK in the theatres.
