Super hit Tamil director Lingusamy is going to debut in Bollywood. He is going to direct Shahid Kapoor in the remake of his highly successful Tamil Vettai.


Shahid Kapoor is going to play the role done by Arya. Last week Lingusamy was in Mumbai for a special screening of Vettai. Madhavan's role will be done by another Hindi hero who has not yet been confirmed.

UTV Motion Pictures who produced it in Tamil will also be doing the remake in Hindi.

The young heart throb of Bollywood Shahid Kapoor known for his "chocolate boy" roles and done films like Jab We Met, Kaminay and recent Mausam loved Vettai.

He thought Lingusamy made it as a "pucca entertainer" and expressed his desire to play the role done by Arya.
