Popular dancer in Alfonsa, who appeared in Bassaha in the song Ra Ra … is rushed to hospital in critical condition after she reportedly consumed tablets.

Alfonsa was living with her lover Vinod Kumar from Kalpakkam, in Chennai.

On Sunday, she returned from Dubai and reportedly had a quarrel with his lover. She was shocked to see him hanging from the ceiling in the wee hours of today.

Alfonsa returned home and decided to end her life by consuming tablets. She was immediately rushed to nearby hospital in a critical condition.

Popular actress and item girl Alphonso is admitted in the hospital following her serious condition after an attempt to commit suicide.

The actress was found unconscious in her apartment in Virugambakkam, Chennai today and was rushed to the Vijaya Hospital in Vadapalani. She is now kept under intensive care as her condition is very critical. The doctor has said that the actress has consumed an excess amount of sleeping pills in an attempt to commit suicide.

It may be recalled that her companion Vinodh Kumar, with whom Alphonso was living together in a live-in relationship, had committed suicide after Alphonso rejected his offer of getting married. Vinodh Kumar was also rushed to hospital but doctors could not save his life.

It is said that Alphonso took the extreme step after she was unable to coup with high stress and depression.
