Film 'Asthamanam' has been certified 'U/A' by the Board of Film Censor.

   The film is the second one of director Bandi Saroj Kumar after his critically acclaimed film 'Porkalam' that had Kishore in the lead.
 
 "The censor board officials appreciated our content and work seeing the film. The film did not get any cuts. We straight away took 'U/A', and did not ask for 'U' as we knew it we could not get 'U' as we cannot compromise on certain crucial scenes," says the director.
  
The film features Rajesh, Victoria, Munnar Ramesh, Sharan and Raghu in vital roles. Siddharth Vipin has scored the music.
 
 The film is planning to release during the month of April, 2012!
