Director Bharathiraja has decided to cast his son Manoj for the Kattuviriyan role in Anna Kodiyum Kodi Veeranum.
His first choice was Parthiban for the role but for some reason he replaced him with director Ameer.


However, Ameer and Bharathiraja did not get along well owing to the FEFSI issue. Ameer is against the Producers' Council in this issue and Bharathiraja is not happy with it, say sources. Following the differences of opinion, Bharathiraja has decided to cast his son Manoj in the main lead instead of Ameer.
