The newly wed actress Genelia D'Souza lands in trouble. The local court in Hyderabad has asked the Saifabad police to register a case against the actress.
Genelia may face legal proceeding for cheating Ch. Tirupathaiah after promising him of constructing two Duplex houses at Kalvakol Village in Maheswaram Mandal for which he paid Rs 54 lakhs.

Genelia is one of the directors of Anjani Puthra Infrastructure Private Ltd., and is also the brand ambassador for the same. Tirupathaiah alleges that the company has sold 500 plots there. He also alleges that after the State Consumer Forum gave a verdict in favour the company threatened to kill him.

The Additional chief metropolitan magistrate court on hearing the case on Friday ordered filing of cases under various sections of IPC including criminal intimidation.
