Hansika has become an action star now! The actress who has done those bubbly characters is taking up an action oriented character in her upcoming film 'Vettai Mannan' that she pairs Simbhu for the first time.

    The actress trains her guns towards the guys in the film as she plays a gangster girl in the film. This is the reason that the actress is always seen in action style even off sets. "Yes, I'm getting myself trained by being in that mode as my natural character is just opposite what I'm doing in the film now. I look very serious and off-smile all through the film which I find very difficult to get into the skin of the character because of my real character," says the actress.

    She was earlier honoured with a title 'Dream Girl' of Kollywood by her fans abroad. It is irony that the girl immediately after getting the title 'Dream Girl' is doing this gangster girl character.
  
"Though my fans would be bit upset with this character I want to try different faces in my films. I don't want to type-cast myself in a certain style," adds Hansika.
    'Vettai Mannan' has Simbhu, Jai and Deeksha Seth in the lead along with Hansika and is directed by Nelson.
