KB’s advice to Tamil Film Producers Council

The Tamil Film Producers Council has decided not to start any new film till 30 April. This decision was taken following a war of words with FEFSI workers.

The wage row that forced the FEFSI workers to halt all shootings has resulted in TFPC taking the tough decision.

The TFPC is keen on starting a new association alternative to FEFSI. However the decision has been halted due to intervention by veteran director K Balachander.

Upon his advice they have decided to take a final call on the issue after some time. For now, they have announced that no new films will start before 30 April and the ongoing shoots will continue.
