Those were the days when a hero or an actor is rested due to some reasons, the comeback may be an issue of stake.
This happened to the veterans like Ravichandran, Nagesh, and certain heroines of yester years. But for Manoj Bharathi, better known as Manoj the son of director Bharathiraja, the comeback meant to depict the baddie role. He went in exile after his marriage some two years ago.

Now he is said to have stepped in the Kollywood through a movie directed by Vetriveeran. The movie, Kadal Theevu, has Manoj in the villainy and the director assured that Manoj will be given a resplendent character as it would mean his come back. Without deliberating much about the movie, director said the film will have Ramcharan as the hero. He is not unfamiliar to the audience as Ramcharan was the one who did the song sequence Damakku Damakku from Azahgi.

More prominent for Kadal Theevu is that the female lead role is done by Tanvi Lonkar of Slumdog Millionaire fame. Vetriveeran said there would be a heavy dose of thrills in the movie and he would commence the shooting in Kodaikanal during the peak season – April or May this year.
