Simbhu aka STR is house hold name for Kollywood went global with his Love Anthem ,the astonishing response from the global audience made the makers of Oh My Friend to rope in Simbhu for a song called Natpuku illa Ellai.


The actor is known for his friendly behavior, he doesn't have his starry egoes to croon for someone else's movies .Not to forget , all the numbers were on top of the charts and it became promotion material for the movies as well. Simbhu had done in past crooning for Jeyam Ravi in Thillangadi, Doo, Prashanth's Mambattiyan.

Apart from singing assignments , the actor has handful of projects that are yet to be completed .The actor is currently in the city shooting for gangster flick "Vettai Mannan" Oh My Friend's dubbed version has been titeld Sridhar and has Siddharth , Hansika and Shruthi Hasaan.
