Comedy, a very serious business

When Rajesh approached me for the lead role in OKOK and narrated the script, I did not get into too many details.

He is an acclaimed director and the banner is big, hence I just focussed on the script. The story was amazing and I had a meaty role. Of course, Udhay came well prepared for the role. The results are there for all to see!

Buddies in K'town
All my co-stars are my friends. My routine in Chennai is very simple. I shoot, come back and sleep early. It's just work most of the time and I don't have close friends in the city.

Take it easy policy
There are few dialogues in the movie where my fiancée would yell at me that I am too fat like an 'aunty' and pull my leg saying I have no dress sense at all! I was informed in advance by Rajesh about this scene including the meaning of the lines. There I am not Haniska, I was only the character 'Meera' and the words were meant for her. So, I took it easy!

Laugh it off
I know comedy is a serious business. I am basically very easygoing. I have always wanted to try out humour and thanks to Rajesh and the team, my work has been appreciated.

But my character Meera is just opposite of what I am in real life. I am never arrogant or blunt like how Meera is portrayed in the film.
