Mani Ratnam’s forthcoming directorial is making wibes even before it is done with the shooting part. Latest on Kadal is Gemini Films Circuit has grabbed the distribution rights of the film at a whooping cost.

Karthik’s son is debuting into films with Kadal, beautiful actress Samantha is pairing opposite with Gautham in this romantic musical entertainer. “Gemini Films Circuit has bought the rights of Mani Ratnam's romantic musical film Kadal for a whopping cost of Rs.25crores,” says a trustable birdie. “Kadal is been scheduled to hit the screens on Diwali,” he concluded.

AR Rahman is composing music for Kadal that is being canned in the seashores in the typical Mani’s style. Rajiv Menon is cranking camera, while A. Sreekar Prasad will handle the editing for this romantic entertainer. Kadal also casts Aravind Swamy, Arjun and Lakshmi Manchu in the key roles.
