Hansika signs Delhi Belly remake with Arya

What if Hansika let go of Avan Vishal's next flick in Sundar C's direction? The actress has finally signed Ivan Arya's upcoming film, which is a remake of the Bollywood blockbuster Delhi Belly.

The original version received enormous criticism for its obnoxious and lewd content — especially the language that was used throughout the film.

Ask Hansika if she is comfortable speaking such coarse lines and the vivacious star says, "I know where I stand in K'town and I am aware of my limitations.

Having watched the B'town version, I was initially concerned about the loutish dialogues. I discussed with director Kannan and he has promised me that he is changing the script keeping the sensitivity of the Tamil audience in mind, while retaining the core comedy.

" The OKOK star seems to be the least perturbed about there being one more heroine Anjali in the film. "I have been signed as the lead girl opposite Arya, who is to reprise Imran Khan's role. Kannan has given a clear picture of what my role is in the flick. So, no hassles!" she quips.

The movie has the comedy king Santhanam and Premgi Amaran reprising the roles of Vir Das and Kunal Roy Kapur.

Her career in the Telugu industry also seems to be on an upswing. "I have signed a movie opposite Naga Chaitanya, which is being produced by Bellamkonda Suresh. I am really happy to be a part of this as the same team gave my earlier hit Kandireega," she signs off!
