It is the birthday of Siddharth. The actor is turning 33 today and his family and friends are making arrangements to celebrate the big day of Siddharth.

    Siddharth was born in Chennai in a Tami family and was raised in many places of India including Delhi and Mumbai where he did his studies.

    He started his career as an assistant director to Mani Ratnam and worked in the Mani's film 'Kannathil Muthamittal'. With his director's permission he attended the audition conducted by Shankar and was selected to play the lead actor in 'Boys'.

    Though the Tamil version did not much appreciated by critics his Telugu version brought him much appreciation and a line-up of offers in Tollywood. Siddharth utilized those offers to the best.

'Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana', also the directorial debut movie of choreographer-actor Prabhu Deva, was a big commercial hit in Tollywood and Siddharth became one of the young hot stars of Telugu cinema. He continued to make hit films in Telugu and Tamil. Mani Ratnam's 'Aayitha Ezhuthu' was one prominent film that he acted in Tamil. Meanwhile he was offered a crucial role in Aamir Khan's 'Ranga De Basanthi', which took him to a national fame.

Siddharth's latest movie, the bilingual 'Kadhalil Sodhappuvathu Eppadi' that he acted and co-produced, hit the bull's eye at the box-office.
