The Roja star Aravind Swamy who is back in to films with his mentor was landed with a fractured elbow in the sets of Kadal being directed by Mani Ratnam.

Aravind is back in to films after a decade and appears to be playing one of the important roles in Gautham and Samantha starring Kadal. The Bombay actor tweeted, "Back home for the weekend...have been working with a fractured elbow for the last 10 days. Feeling better now...no worries."

Karthik's son Gautham is debuting in to films with Kadal that casts Samantha in the female lead along with Action King Arjun and Lakshmi Manchu being part of important cast. AR Rahaman is composing the music for Kadal that has camera cranking by Rajiv Menon and editing is by A. Sreekar Prasad in the technical crew.
