‘Kochadaiyan’ will be released on Nov.13 for Deepavali, Rajinikanth told some journalists who met him at a London hotel where is staying.


The superstar has been shooting for the film for the last fortnight. He and his daughter Soundarya Aswin, who directs the film, left Chennai along with the film unit on March 17.

Talking to the journalists at the hotel, Rajini said ‘Kochadaiyan’ is a fantasy film of international standards. All, including children, would like the film. It will be released on Nov.13.

He said he considers every film in which he acts as his first and put in as best an effort as he could. “I carefully choose best directors and producers and act in their films.”

Asked what he thought of being the superstar, Rajini smiled and replied that as far as he is concerned, there is only one superstar and he is Amitabh Batchchan.
