Films set in North Chennai are always a favorite among K'town filmmakers. Now, yet another flick titled Amaran, which was the title of the Karthik-starrer blockbuster, is being launched by director Senthil soon.

While Monica is the heroine in the film, Adarsh who played Madhikettan Salai earlier will be seen in an action hero role.
A gangster film, sources say that Monica plays a role with shades of grey and has plenty of scope to perform.
