Producer A.M. Rathnam’s son Jyothi Krihna is directing and acting in ‘Oo La La’ which he says the story of today’s lovers.


He is not new to direction. He has directed two films ‘Yaenakku 20 Unakku 18′ and ‘Kedi’. ‘Oo La La’ is the first film in which he is acting besides directing it. His actor brother Ravi Krishna makes a guest appearance in the film. Playing opposite Jyothi Krishna is Mumbai model Divya Bhandari. This is her first film. Others in the cast include Ganja Karuppu, Sekar Prasad, Thalaivasal Vijay and Sujatha.

R.G. Sekhar is the cinematographer and Sekhar Chandra is the music director. The audio of the film was recently released.

‘Oo La La’ was a song in ‘Minsara Kanavu’. But the film’s title ‘Oo La La’ denote Urvasi, Lalitha and Lavanya.

Jyoti Krishna says ‘Oo La La’ is a ‘jolly’ film for the youth. The film tells how today’s lovers are and how they should be. It is a comedy flick through and through. Every scene will be a laugh riot. The film goes well with the modern trend. He thought a new face as the hero would make the film livelier and so he decided to don the role himself.

Jyothi Krishna claims the film’s audio has been a hit. G. Sampath and S. Rambabu (Marshal Power Media) who saw the rushes of the film told him they would buy the rights and release the film. It may hit the screens this month.

Divya Bhandari told mediapersons that she got the opportunity to act in ‘Oo La La’ while she was trying for Hindi films. She was hesitating to sign this Tamil film. Then she persuaded herself that if she could make it big in Tamil it would be easy for her to enter Bollywood. She liked her character in ‘Oo La La’. “I pin all my hopes on this film.” She is now learning Tamil. “Jyothi Krishna has introduced Trisha, Shreya Saran, Tamannah and Illeyana and they have all become stars. Now he has introduced me and I am hopeful that I too would join their ranks,” she said.
