Rajinikanth had issued a press statement clarifying his stance in the 3 film issue. The Superstar has said that it has been brought to his notice that his name is being connected with 3, a film directed by his daughter Aishwarya.


Rajinikanth denied having anything to do with the film. He made it very clear that he is in no way connected with the film's release and its business at the box office. Therefore, Rajini appealed to all distributors not to believe in rumors that he would settle the losses incurred by them in distributing 3.
3 was Aishwarya Dhanush's first film and starred her husband Dhanush and Kamal's daughter Shruti Haasan.
