While it was reported that Shankar's next project will involve Vikram after Anniyan's success. This was mooted as the result of Shankar's roping in the duo Su Pa who are the story creators for KV Anand.
Prior to that Shankar had the occasion to get story from the ace writer Sujata and even for Enthiran and Nanban he depended on Madan Karky. Now for the next project Shankar is engaging this duo for the advanced theme.


However he is not yet settled with the hero of the film. Earlier he preferred to go for the second project with Vikram. This he believed on the basis of the victory from Anniyan project. But now Shankar is making his mind to go for Surya. This he feels would enable the potential in Tollywood region.

Normally Surya has a dearth in Telugu areas and his films make deep impact on them.

However no final picture has emerged from Shankar' side. If at all this materialized then the project may be a delayed one as Surya has committed two films one with Venkat Prabu and another with Hari.
