Director K V Anand filmed at IIT-Madras campus recently with Suriya doing a crucial scene for the film 'Maatran'.

   'Maatran' shoot is progressing at an energetic pace with the crew filming non-stop in locations at India-Pak border, Eastern Europe, Hyderabad, USA and in Pune. Recently, the crew had a shoot at the IIT-Madras campus for a crucial scene in which Suriya performed for an action sequence.
 
 This is the same place where Suriya shot for his last year hit '7aam Arivu' with Shruti Hassan and Johnny Tri Nguyen for the climax scene with A R Murugadoss directing it. It is like recalling these moments for Suriya!
 
 'Maatran' is the second film that Suriya is doing with K V Anand after the blockbuster 'Ayan'! 'Maatran' has Kajal
Agarwal in the female lead and Vivek, Sachin Kedekhar and Isha Sharvani doing other prominent roles.
 
 The film is expected to get completed in May and see a release in July – August this year.
